Autumn Crisp, Colorful Season

Autumn is our season.
On that dark dreadful day.
I don't know the reason.
You passed away.

The day right after Thanksgiving.
One moment you were here.
You were grateful, and happy living.
The next moment my biggest fear.

A sad painful song.
No feelings or emotions found.
Here is where you belong.
Not a single sound.

Flying high in the sky soaring black birds.
Holidays will always come so many games.
Many unspoken words.
Life will never be the same.

We were looking forward to the holidays.
Never a chance to say good-bye.
Life had quickly changed in unexpected ways.
I will never ever know why.

Another Thanksgiving will soon arrive.
We will again be apart.
I will faithfully survive.
I will forever carry you deep in my heart.

In dedication to my dear beloved husband.
